What is the Kawenter white-label storefront?

How is white-label different from the Partner API?

White-label is a traveler-facing hosted UI with retail checkout. The Partner API is server-to-server wholesale create/pay with ka_live_… keys. Docs: white-label https://kawenter.com/docs/white-label. Partner https://kawenter.com/docs/partner

When is agency margin credited?

Paid but not completed orders may show pending margin on the statement. Agency margin is credited to the wallet only when the order is paid and WooCommerce status is completed. Not at pending, processing, embassy, or docs.

Who handles white-label refunds and chargebacks?

Kawenter is merchant of record on white-label: travelers pay Kawenter; Kawenter handles traveler refunds and card disputes under the consumer Terms. Margin is not earned if the order is refunded, cancelled, charged back, or never completed. Credited margin may be clawed back after a refund or chargeback. Travelers pay retail via Stripe / ZainCash. Kawenter is the merchant of record.
Order notification email/phone = your agency contact; traveler details stay in order meta.
When paid but not yet completed, margin may appear as pending (not withdrawable).
Margin is credited only when the order is paid and status is completed.

Partner API create/pay remains wholesale. Quotes may still show suggested retail_total / agency_margin when markup is configured.

Traveler refunds

Eligibility follows Kawenter’s consumer Terms (typically non-refundable after government submission).
Kawenter handles the traveler refund or card dispute with Stripe / ZainCash.
Do not promise travelers refund terms beyond Kawenter’s published policy.

Chargebacks and margin clawback

If a traveler payment is refunded or charged back after margin was credited, Kawenter may reverse that agency_margin.
Clawback does not force a negative wallet: balance is debited first; shortfall may become a receivable with spend restriction.
Separate: disputed/refunded agency wallet top-ups may also be clawed back.

Treat pending margin as provisional until completed; avoid spending margin that may still reverse during a refund/dispute window.
